Monaco is a small principality of Côte d'Azur second smallest independent state in the world (after the Vatican). Surrounded on three sides by France and fourth in the Mediterranean. This is the most populous country in the world. 

The capital of Monaco is the city of Monaco and Monte Carlo, not as many believe. The country is divided into 4 sections: Monaco-Ville (the old city), the Condamine (port), the Monte-Carlo (business and entertainment center) and Fontvieille (recreation and light industry). Monaco is a very popular tourist destination and tax haven for businesses.While its size is six times that of the Vatican, remains the most densely populated independent country in the world.
