The capital and largest town in Iceland is Reykjavik (Reykjavík). Walk the old town and observe the special construction of houses, especially the exterior walls that resembles built with elenit. In Perlan admire the stunning views of the city. Here, it is also very good restaurant. Visit the National Cathedral, a very small church next to the Althingi. In Tjörnin Lake will find the Town Hall. For many residents gathered to feed the many ducks and likeable. The Alþingi (Parliament) is in Austurvöllur, a green area of the lake. Visit the National Museum of Iceland (National Museum of Iceland) and Hallgrímskirkja (amazing church architecture). In "The Culture House" is a world class museum with two levels. In the first hosted rare medieval manuscripts and the second a stunning report on the volcanic island Surtsey and race around the recognition as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Impressive also is the city's zoo and the relatively small Reykjavik Museum of Photography. The Imagine Peace Tower is the monument dedicated to Yoko Ono in memory of John Lennon and worth a visit. Finally, the Reykjavik Art Museum is the largest visual arts institution in the country with impressive event. 

Popular destination is the Hafnarfjörður. The history center is very graphic. It deserves your attention also Hellisgerði park which houses a unique collection of Japanese bonsai in Iceland. You can also take a stroll on the beach in the heart of the city. Finally, the Viking Village hotel and restaurant is decorated and built in accordance with the standards of the Viking and worth a visit. 

If you have time drive up Keflavík known mainly for Duus Hús Museum which houses more than 100 models of ships. There is also a concert venue and events. Going to the port can buy a ticket for a tour in places that whales are a definitely unique experience. 

The Húsavík is best known for Icelandic museum phallus (Icelandic Phallological Museum), which is probably the only museum in the world that contains a collection of phallic specimens belonging to different mammalian species. Also hosted here Husavik Whale Center an NGO to inform about the lives of whales in Iceland. 

Akureyri is the second largest urban center in the country. Here you can explore one of the most special parts of the country Mývatn the lake which is home to rich flora and has strange characteristics volcanic activity that fascinate the visitor. 

The Ísafjörður known because Vigur, a nearby island, which attracts several tourists. It has 5 permanent residents and is home to many bird species. Also, there you will find the only windmill in Iceland.
